Art Education Concentration, Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art

Students in the Art Education concentration will also receive K-12 Art certification. This option gives students the opportunity to teach K-12 art or the capacity to pursue graduate level work in an M.A. or M.Ed. program in art education. The Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in Art Education is a 120 credit hour program of which 57 are in ART and 30 are from the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences.

MUS 2300  SOUND DESIGN FOR VIDEO GAMES, FILM, AND SOUND ART (3 credits)

This course provides an overview of sound design theory & techniques. Using various multimedia platforms, students will effectively create compelling audio assets for video games, film, and artistic sound installations.

Prerequisite(s): C or higher in MUS 1170, MUS 3170, or permission of instructor. Not open to non-degree graduate students.
