PSYC 9570 CONCEPTUAL FOUNDATIONS OF BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS (3 credits)
This course is intended to provide graduate students more in-depth exposure to the philosophy and science of applied behavior analysis. Emphasis throughout the class will be on the intersection of the philosophy of behaviorism, the science of behavior analysis and the application of behavior analysis. It is assumed that students will have adequate understanding of basic principles of applied behavior analysis before taking the course.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum of one course in learning theory (PSYC 8560, PSYC 8576, PSYC 9040, or equivalent) or permission of instructor. Not open to non-degree graduate students.
