SOC 8000 SEMINAR IN APPLIED SOCIOLOGY AND ANTHROPOLOGY (3 credits)
An overview of the field of applied sociology and anthropology with special attention to social processes in the application of social science to solving problems in for-profit- and not-for-profit sectors. Special emphasis is placed on the use of sociological and anthropological theories and methods to work collaboratively with clients, organizations, and communities, and to ethically engage with stakeholder communities.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing or permission of instructor
