Social Sciences (SSCI)

SSCI 2000  SOCIAL SCIENCE ISSUES I (3-5 credits)

An interdisciplinary course which explores the nature and scope of social science, and seeks an integrated understanding of selected social science topics within the context of contemporary issues. Course topics will vary, but will typically include a multidisciplinary approach.

SSCI 4900  GLOBAL CAREER INTERNSHIP (3-6 credits)

This internship is specifically designed for students participating in UNO's Global Career Accelerator Program. Students will be paired with UNO's Global Career Accelerator corporate partners to gain experience in high-demand careers such as web development, digital marketing, data analytics, coding for data, or web analytics/social media.

Prerequisite(s): Participation in the Global Career Acceleration Program or permission of director.
