Theatre, Bachelor of Arts

The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre degree program delivers a holistic understanding of theatrical artistry, instilling foundational competencies essential for wide-ranging roles in production, including performance, design, directing, producing, box office management, publicity, and more. Our curriculum strikes a balance between traditional academic coursework and hands-on training, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education. At the heart of our program lies a commitment to nurturing each student's artistic and cultural development. By blending a broad-based liberal arts foundation with focused professional training, the BA in Theatre equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field. 

Students may elect to pursue either a General Major or a concentration in Acting/Directing, Musical Theatre, Stage ManagementDesign, or Technology.  Students pursuing a concentration are required to participate in formal juries each semester to receive faculty feedback and evaluation of their progress in the program.
